Is this a novelty?
No, and I wouldn’t put my name on it if it were. A novelty is something you laugh at once and shove in a drawer. This is 250 GSM double-brushed fleece with a patent-pending design — the blanket you’d keep on the bed even if the opening weren’t there.
So is it just a blanket?
It’s a genuinely good queen fleece blanket that happens to solve a problem nobody else bothered to solve. Both of those things are true at once, and that’s the whole appeal.
Will my partner think it’s weird?
