How to wash it
Follow these and it stays plush wash after wash. I am telling you now so you do not learn it the hard way: high heat is the one thing this fabric cannot handle.
- Wash alone, cold water, gentle cycle
- Skip the fabric softener, since it flattens the nap
- Tumble dry alone on low, or lay flat to dry
- Never high heat
- Keep it away from towels, denim, zippers and Velcro

Is this a novelty?
No, and I would not put my name on it if it were. A novelty is something you laugh at once and shove in a drawer. This is 250 GSM double-brushed fleece with a patent-pending design: the blanket you would keep on the bed even without the opening.
So is it just a blanket?
It is a genuinely good queen fleece blanket that also solves a problem most blankets ignore. Both things are true at once, and that is the whole appeal.
Will my partner think it is weird?
The reaction I hear most often is some version of "wait, why does this not already exist?" It is a blanket. It looks like a blanket. Nobody who walks past your bed is going to figure anything out.
Do I need to figure anything out?
