Let Me Show You How to Use It
WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS
MORE THAN JUST MINT.
this one brought a pepper.
Peppermint cools. Sichuan pepper does something else entirely, a low buzz that builds instead of a hit that fades. The rest of the bottle is there for your skin.
-
01
IT BUILDS, IT DOESN'T HIT
Give it time. People who expect everything in the first thirty seconds tend to decide too early, and this is not that kind of formula.
-
02
SICHUAN PEPPER, NOT JUST MINT
Zanthoxylum bungeanum is the pepper behind the buzz in Sichuan food. It is a different compound from menthol, and it feels different.
-
03
FOR YOUR SKIN, TOO
Squalane, bisabolol, aloe and cucumber are in there for your skin, not for the sensation. It comes from a feminine care brand and the formula shows it.
ON THE NIGHTSTAND
IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A SEX PRODUCT.
it looks like skincare.
A red tube on a bedside table, out where anyone could see it. Beaver Butter makes the wash, the wipes and the shave cream too, and this sits alongside them rather than hidden behind them.
HOW TO USE IT
FOUR STEPS. ONE OF THEM IS WAITING.
and it's the one that counts.
-
01
START SMALL
A little on your fingertips. Patch test your thigh if you react easily.
-
02
CIRCLES, OUTSIDE ONLY
Gentle circular motions on the external vulva.
-
03
THEN WAIT
The tingle builds. It isn't instant and it isn't meant to be.
-
04
THE BUZZ IS THE POINT
Cooling and tingling means the peppermint and the pepper are doing their job.
STRAIGHT ANSWERS
THE QUESTIONS WE ACTUALLY GET.
Still not sure? Ask us. Nothing you say will surprise us, and no question here is too basic. Talk to us
What if I don't feel much?
Then you aren't doing it wrong. Sensitivity varies enormously between people and from one night to the next. Give it a few minutes before you decide, try slightly more next time, and know that some people get a strong buzz from this and others get a gentle warmth.
Is it supposed to sting?
No. What you want is a cool tingle that builds. Peppermint and Sichuan pepper are both strong and intimate skin is thin, so start with less than you think and patch test your inner thigh first if your skin reacts easily. Plain water takes it off if it turns out to be more than you wanted.
Can I use it with toys?
Glass, hard plastic and body safe metal are all fine. Keep it away from silicone toys: dimethicone and dimethiconol are in this formula, and silicone against silicone can degrade the surface over time.
Can I use it with lube?
Yes. Let the serum absorb first, then add lube over the top. A water based one sits happily on it, and Beaver Butter makes one that pairs with this.
Will my partner feel it too?
If you apply it before partnered play then some of it transfers, so usually yes. If you would rather it didn't, let it absorb fully first, which takes a few minutes.
How long does one bottle last?
Months, for most people. It is 1.7 oz and you only need a few drops at a time, so the bottle outlasts what the price suggests. There is a subscription at 15% off if you get through it faster than that.
